Field of Asphodel, 1-2 August

Theatre Rotto

‘Field of Asphodel’ retells the Persephone myth with large puppets, shadows and music with an East European twist resonating with texts from witnesses of the Chernobyl disaster. After an earthquake, Persephone, abducted by Hades is imprisoned in the Underworld.
