Double Bill, Part 2: Show of Hands, 15-16 July

Freddie Opoku-Addaie’s Show of Hands is a personal journey of finding oneself, dodging obstacles and provocations, dancing on the highs and lows and driven to the final whistle.

Freddie Opoku-Addaie is a British-born choreographer, performer and educator of Ghanaian heritage. He juxtaposes instinctive movement/ritualistic folk practices, structured choreography, with rules and parameters of gaming. The results are viscerally affecting dance pieces which explore universal notions of the group, the individual and the outsider. (
