Jumbled revisit Lucy's clown-themed 8th birthday party, indulge in sickly sweet party food and
investigate the fading memory of what it was to be the centre of attention for a whole day. The old urge
to show off grips her once again and, struggling to perform a half-remembered tap dance routine, she
teeters on the brink of a tantrum.

Her friends Paul and Dan have agreed to help her out, and they arrive, in full clown costume, to re-live her
memories and some of their own. But none of us are as young and innocent as we used to be, and sometimes a man can look pretty sexy in a clown suit. With a bag of tricks that don't often work and a repertoire of jokes that are far too risqué for a kid's‚ party, the three performers trample through the fragments of a childhood memory, making rather a lot of mess along the way.

Exploring the fine line between what is OK when you are 8, what is not OK when you're all grown up,
and what happens when you go too far.
