Join Chelsea Theatre for tea, cake and a 1950s inspired tea dance led by Rag Roof Theatre company on Bank Holiday Tuesday 5th June 3pm-5pm
Last year Chelsea Theatre held an outdoor Tea Dance with Rag Roof Theatre at World’s End Place, which drew hundreds of people into the square; dancing, laughing and enjoying homemade cake.
Due to the phenomenal success of this event Chelsea Theatre is proud to celebrate the jubilee bank holiday with a free Tea Dance. Everyone is welcome bring your dancing shoes and join in or sit, watch and soak up the atmosphere.
These intergenerational happenings are perfect for all ages; complete with glamorous performing dancers, instant dance classes and of course, tea and cake!
Ragroof Theatre specialise in site-specific and outdoor performances that engage, inspire and collaborate with communities.
This event will be the first of a series of summer dance events organised by Chelsea Theatre taking place in World’s End Place, which will include the English National Ballet and a Double Decker Dance Bus (both in July).
