ACS Random Presents The Shakespeare Conspiracy

The Shakespeare Conspiracy

Written by Andrew Shepherd

Shakespeare’s characters are real. The RSC is a branch of the government. Iago is trying to destroy the world and mankind’s last hope is a travel agent called Martin.

Martin’s birthday is not going well. His best friend, who is actually a secret agent called Mercutio, is killed by an Elizabethan hitman. Recruited by a government agency calling itself the RSC, he discovers Shakespeare’s villains are on the verge of breaking out of a maximum security prison known as the Globe. Under the leadership of Aloysius Archibald Iago and his sister Antonia Macbeth, if they escape only Martin has the power to defeat them, apparently. And then there’s the girl he met at the party and…did his heart love til now?

After a sold out 5 night preview last summer The Shakespeare Conspiracy comes to Chelsea Theatre bigger, bolder and better for a three week run. The production is the highlight of the acclaimed ACS Random’s 10th anniversary, introducing a new breed of superhero and supervillain to the world.

After the Dark Knight has risen, Spiderman gets bored of being amazing and the Avengers have assembled you can be sure they’ll be getting their tickets for the must see lamentable epic comic romantic tragic black comedy of the year.
